Welcome to our Fall 2009 newsletter! We will be using this quarterly newsletter to let you know about some of the new developments at our organization.

Joanne Norris, Director of Social Returns, has recently moved to Vancouver to set-up an SCP office on the west coast. In addition, the SCP team would like to welcome Magnus Sandberg as our new Director of Investments.

The newsletter is also an opportunity to profile some of the great people and organizations we work with, and put more of a human face on the work we do. In this issue, you'll get to meet the owner of our first franchise investment.

Profiling Success

Jennifer Fedus became the first SCP-financed franchise investment at Active Green and Ross in 2006.

Operations Update

SCP continues to expand its portfolio and has now invested in 21 AG+R franchises.

The most recent locations include Hamilton, Niagara Falls, Simcoe and Stoney Creek.

Also, SCP made its first investment in healthcare through an agreement with We Care Montreal.
